Food and Nutrition Security
In the recently released Food and Nutrition Security Report, it has been said that by 2022 31.4% of Indian children will be underdeveloped. It means that one in every three Indian children below the age of fifty years will be underdeveloped by 2022.
In states like Bihar (48%) and Uttar Pradesh (46%), one in two children will be undeveloped, whereas in Kerala and Goa (20% each), five children will only be underdeveloped.
This report was prepared by the United Nations World Food Program in collaboration with the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation.
