The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) recently discovered 4,000 years old tombs and other remains during the archaeological excavation in Sonauli, Uttar Pradesh. During this excavation, experts have discovered four thousand years of rice, storages and utensils.
At this place, the archeology department has found coffins, rice and lentils filled with dead bodies and bones of animals.
Excavation of archaeological site in Sonauli was first started in 2018, which was restarted in January 2019.
This region is located in Baghpat of Uttar Pradesh. The largest chariot of Harappan is found in this area. Three chariots were received here in the excavation of the year 2018. Apart from this, there are archaeological importance of swords, weapons, food items etc.
