The maximum number of 287 jawans in 2009 and the lowest in the year of 2015 was 34. Earlier, in response to an RTI, the ministry had told that 1,190 left wing extremists were killed since 2010.
According to the RTI, 112 in 2011, 108 in the year 2012, 93 in the year 2013, 81 in the year 2014, 34 in the year 2015, 40 in the year 2016, 56 in 2017 and 52 in 2018 were lost.
By the end of January this year, the life of any security personnel was not carried out in anti-Naxal operations.In response to an RTI in the reply of an RTI, the Home Ministry said that 1,225 jawans of security forces were martyred in the anti-Naxal operations from 2009 to January 2019.
