ICC announces Twenty20 ranking of 80 countries

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has recently released the ranking of teams playing the International Twenty20. India is in fifth place in this ranking while Pakistan's team is in first place.

The Indian team slipped three places to the fifth position in the International T20 rankings. Pakistan has 286 points, while South Africa with 262 points; Second, England with 261 points, Australia with 261 points, fourth and India fifth with 206 points.

The ICC has included teams from 80 countries on this list. South Africa is second and India is in fifth position. The results of 2015-16 series have been removed and the results of 2016-17 and 2017-18 have been given 50% marks.

Afghanistan and Sri Lanka are at number seven and eighth, respectively, while the West Indies slipped to the ninth position. Nepal has moved from 14th to 11th and Namibia is at 20th place.

In which from May 2016 all the member countries that have played six matches against the other ICC member country have been included. In the women's rankings, it is mandatory for teams to play six matches against the other teams in the last three to four years.
