Former ISRO president Kiran Kumar meets France's highest civilian honor

France has honored the former Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) AS Kiran Kumar for his highest civilian honor, 'Chevalier DL Order National De La Legend Honor'.

This honor was given by the President of France by French Ambassador Alexander Jeigler in India on May 2, 2019. In the program, Jean Yevs Le Gall, President of France's Space Agency CNES was also present. According to the French President's statement, France's highest civilian honor recognizes the invaluable contribution of AS Kiran Kumar in the development of Indo-French Space Cooperation.
