Chandrayaan-2 launch will be between July 9 and 16

Chandrayaan-2

The second moon mission of India is Chandrayaan-2's Arbiter, Lander (Vikram) and Rover (Pragyan) three modules. The orbiter and lander module will be mechanically added together as an integrated module and after this, GSLV will be adjusted inside the MK-three observation vehicle.

All modules are being prepared for the launch of Chandrayaan-2 between July 9 to 16, 2019. Chandrayaan-2 is expected to hit the moon surface on September 6, 2019.

After the Chandrayaan-2 was set up in the Earth orbit by the GSLV Mk-3 launch vehicle, the integrated module will be in the orbit of the Moon with the help of propellant module. After this the lander will separate from the arbiter and descend slowly at the predetermined site in the southern tip of the Moon.

After landing on the Moon surface, Rover will start the scientific experiment there. All sorts of scientific instruments have been set up in Lander and Arbiter for this.
