  • In the matter of violation of the code of conduct, the Election Commission has banned UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BSP chief Mayawati for campaigning for 72 hours and 48 hours respectively.
  • The Commission also sent a notice to Yogi Adityanath for 'Ali-Bajrangbali' and Mayawati's speech to 'vote for Muslims'.
