The world's largest indoor waterfall was officially opened to the public from 17 April 2019.
A portion of the airport was being renovated for nearly four years. Around eight thousand crores of rupees have been spent to give it a new look. The biggest feature of Chongi Airport is that it is the highest in the water springs under the roof. Its height is about 130 feet. The swimming pool is also built on the rooftops of the airport.
This waterfall is located in a dome-shaped complex, with a four-storey garden and over 280 retail and food outlets. There is also a botanical garden, which has 120 species of plants, a four-storey garden on the airport has been built. Several types of plants have been planted in the airport.
Travelers can also enjoy the largest indoor waterfalls at Changi Airport. It is designed by architect Mood Safdie. It is the seventh busiest airport in the world. In 2018, 6 million 56 lakh passengers traveled from four terminals here.
