Varun-19 naval maneuvers will be organized between India and France in May 2019. During this time, practice will be practiced by the navy in different situations with skill and patience.

Between India and France, joint naval maneuvers 'Varun-2011' was organized on March 19, 2018 at the Marmagova Port Trust in Vasco da Gama, Goa. This maneuvers were organized in the Arabian Sea, off the coast of Goa.

The main point of 'Varun-2011'

In this exercise India will use its aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya with MiG-29K fighters. In this exercise from France, aircraft carrier FNS Charles de Gaulle and Raphael-M Naval Jets will participate.

In this exercise France is taking part in FNS Forbin, FNS Provence, FNS LatusTravil, nuclear submarine, FNS amethyst, tanker FNS, etc. In this exercise from India, diesel-electric submarine INS Shankul, Guided Missile Destroyers INS Chennai, Stelfat Frigate INS Tekkhar, Tanker INS Deepak, P-8I Long Distance Patrol Aircraft and Dornier-228 are taking part in this exercise.
Varuna is a high level naval exercise, anti-submarine exercise will also be organized.
