India's 2018-19 cricket season will be formal end with the final of the Indian Premier League on May 12 in Hyderabad.
For the first time in India domestic season 2024 matches were played between 37 teams, including 3444 match days. Earlier, during the 2017-18 season, 1032 matches were played between 28 teams, including 1892.5 match days.
According to the BCCI release, 81 percent of the match was increased, during which time only 21 percent increase in session window.
During the session, 13015 players applied for registration whereas 6471 players participated in the 2018-19 season.
According to the release, the BCCI also took the services of 170 video analysts and the same scorers who ensured that every match on the official website is live scoring.
