India aims to eliminate malaria

India has targeted malaria-free by 2027 and eliminated malaria from the year 2030. More than 3 lakh people die every year in India due to malaria.

India has targeted to completely eliminate it to avoid malaria.

Indian Medical Research Council (ICMR) organized the National Malaria Control Program on World Malaria Day (April 25).

ICMR has targeted India to release malaria from year 2027 and to completely eliminate malaria by 2030.
