After denying the ban on the Madras High Court order by the Supreme Court, the Chinese video-sharing app Tik Tok has been removed from Google Play Store and Apple App Store in India.
The High Court asked Google and Apple to stop the downloads of this app, telling Tuckak about promoting pornography. While hearing a petition filed by an advocate, Madurai Peeth of Madras High Court had issued the order to ban the central government for downloading this app in India. In addition to this, the media had also asked not to broadcast the video made through this app.
