Policy commission
Kerala is on top of the health index of the Commission, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra have it. Apart from this, Haryana, Rajasthan and Jharkhand have shown maximum improvement in health outcomes from the base to the reference year.
The Health Index has been developed by the Policy Commission, in consultation with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, with technical assistance from the World Bank.
In the report, states and Union Territories are shown innovatively on their overall performance in terms of year-to-year growth, as well as on their overall performance in relation to each other.
