"Saraswati respect for the famous Telugu poet Shiva Reddy"!

• The 28th Saraswati award has been announced to Dr. K. Shiva Reddy, a famous poet of Telugu. On behalf of KK Birla Foundation, 76-year-old Reddy will receive this award for his poetic collection 'Pakki Ottigilithe' for the year 2018.

• The prize amount includes Rs. 15 lakhs, insignia and citation. Last year, this honor was received by Sitanshu Yashchandra. The first honor was received by Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan. This year, the thirteen members selection committee, chaired by former Lok Sabha Secretary General Subhash C Kashyap, has decided this year.
