"Nepal launches its first satellite 'Nepaliat-1' from the US!

Nepal launched its first satellite, Nepaliat-1, on April 17, 2019, successfully from the US. According to the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), the satellite prepared by scientists from Nepal was launched from Virginia in the US.

The two scientists of Nepal who studied at the Kyushu Institute of Technology, Japan, Mashkki and Hariram Brahma created satellite under the BIRDS (Birdus) project of their organization.
