"Namami Gange was honored at the Global Water Summit in London"!
- Global Water Intelligence has awarded the National Clean Ganga Mission (NMCG) to 'Public Water Agency of the Year-Distinction' on April 09, 2019 in Global Water Summit in London.
- During the Global Water Summit, the famous Global Water Awards are given. This program is one of the world's largest business conferences in the field of water.
- The Global Water Awards recognize excellence in the entire international water industry. Water, in the West Water Management and Desalination areas, reward those initiatives, which bring significant improvements in people's lives.
- The main objective of Namami Gange Mission is to provide comprehensive and sustainable solutions to the main pollution sites of 97 cities and 4465 villages on the main stream of Ganga. This mission is not only making new infrastructure (infrastructure), but also ensures maintenance and operation of the old and damaged sewage treatment plant (STP).
