  • According to NASA, due to the rain of meteorites on the Moon, water present below its surface turns out to be vapor.
  • Due to the vibration caused by the collision of meteorites, the upper layer of the Moon breaks down due to which the water present in it is released like a vapor, which is said to be its harm. This phenomenon has been detected by NASA's LADEE specroft.
