States to rollout ‘Parivesh’ by January 15

  1. The web-based ‘Parivesh’ will be rolled-out at state levels by 15 January 2019.
  2. ‘Parivesh’ (Pro-Active and Responsive facilitation by Interactive, Virtuous and Environmental Single-window Hub) is a single-window integrated environmental management system, developed under the ‘Digital India’ initiative.
  3. It was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in August 2018 on World Biofuel Day.
