Manufacturing PMI slows in December

  1. Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) slowed down a bit to 53.2 in December 2018 as against 54 in November 2018.
  2. This index is prepared on the basis of a survey which is conducted among purchasing executives in over 400 companies.
  3. The index is prepared by ‘IHS Markit’ and it is widely to explain the latest industrial situation in a country.
