Jayanta Kumar won ‘National Geospatial Award’

  1. The Indian Society for Remote Sensing (ISRS) conferred the National Geospatial Award for Excellence-2017 (Life Time Achievement Award) to IIT professor Jayanta Kumar Ghosh 
  2. The award was given to him for his contribution to the development of geospatial science and applications.
  3. ISRS is an organisation known in the area of space science, remote sensing and geospatial technology.
