WPI inflation falls to 4.64% in November

  1. Inflation based on wholesale prices fell to a three-month low of 4.64% in November 2018, as prices of food articles, especially vegetables reduced.
  2. The Wholesale Price Index (WPI)-based inflation stood was 5.28% in October 2018 and 4.02% in November 2017.
  3. Vegetables, too, became cheaper with deflation at 26.98% in November 2018 as compared to 18.65% in October 2018.
