Vanessa Leon won ‘Miss World 2018’ crown

1. Mexico’s Vanessa Ponce de Leon won the coveted ‘Miss World 2018’ crown on 8 December 2018.
2. She is a volunteer for ‘Migrantes en el Camino’ and is on the board of directors of a rehab centre for girls.
3. Thailand’s Nicolene Pichapa Limsnukan was declared the runner-up.
4. Miss Belarus Maria Vasilevich, Miss Jamaica Kadijah Robinson, and Miss Uganda Quiin Abenakyo were also among the final five.
