Train 18 to be flagged off on December 29

1. Train 18, India’s fastest train, will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi on 29 December 2018.
2. It is the country’s first engine less train which will replace the Shatabdi trains.
3. It will run between Delhi and Varanasi.
4. It was manufactured by Integrated Coach Factory Chennai.
5. It became India’s fastest train by hitting speeds of over 180 Kmph during a trial run.
