Telangana & AP to get separate High Courts

1. President Ramnath Kovind issued orders constituting a separate High Court for Andhra Pradesh with effect from January 1, 2019.
2. The High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad will now become the High Court for Telangana.
3. With the creation of the new High Court for Andhra Pradesh, the country now has 25 High Courts.
4. The High Court for Andhra Pradesh will function from Amravati.
