Shubhankar won the ‘Asian Tour Order of Merit’

1. Golf player Shubhankar Sharma became the youngest Indian to win the ‘Asian Tour Order of Merit’ on 8 December 2018.
2. He is the fifth Indian to win the ‘Asian Tour Order of Merit’.
3. Before him, Jyoti Randhawa (2002), Arjun Atwal (2003), Jeev Milkha Singh (2006 and 2008), and Anirban Lahiri (2015) won the ‘Asian Tour Order of Merit’.
4. Jeev is the only golf player to win the Merit honours twice.
