Prof Hamidi Kashmiri passed away

1. Dr. Hamidi Kashmiri, literary figure in the world of Urdu language, literature, and literary criticism passed away on 26 December 2018.
2. He was a creative writer, an acclaimed critic and propounder of ‘Iktishaafi Tanqueed’.
3. He has also been the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kashmir.
4. He was a recipient of the Ghalib Award and Sahitya Akademi Award (2005).
