MoC signed b/w India and Japan – II

  1. The Union Cabinet gave its ex-post facto approval to the Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) between India and Japan.
  2. The MoC will enable the establishment and promotion of closer and long-term cooperation between India and Japan in the field of environment protection and management of natural resources.
  3. The MoC entails the exchange of information and technology between the two countries.
  4. The MoC seeks to improve postal services and cooperation in the postal field between the two countries.
  5. The MoC will help in setting up ‘Postal Services Dialogue’ for carrying forward cooperation in specific areas.
