1. The Lok Sabha passed the ‘Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Bill’, 2016, to empower the transgender community.
2. Lok Sabha passed the Surrogacy Bill, 2016, which is aimed at prohibiting commercial surrogacy and unethical practices relating to it.
3. Lok Sabha passed the Consumer Protection Bill, 2018 that seeks to replace the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.
