Justice Praveen to be the Acting CJ of AP HC

  1. President Ram Nath Kovind appointed Justice Chagari Praveen Kumar as the new Acting Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court.
  2. He is the senior-most judge of the current Andhra Pradesh High Court.
  3. The High Court will come into existence on January 1, 2019.
  4. The new High Court will function from Amravati.
