International slavery eradication day


  • Every year on December 2, the International Day of Dissolving Abolition is celebrated.
  • The purpose of this day is to eliminate contemporary forms of slavery.
  • In slavery, the involvement of trafficking of persons, sexual abuse, the worst form of child labor, forcible marriage and forced recruitment of children for use in armed conflict.
  • It was first celebrated in 1986.
