  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate two-day international ‘Conference on Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health’ in New Delhi on 12 December 2018.
  • The objective of the conference is to improve knowledge and accountability to accelerate action on women’s and children’s health.
  • The programme has been framed around the objectives of the global strategy of ‘Survive, Thrive and Transform’.
